Born 1970. Roman Winkler holds a Master degree from the University of Salzburg in ‘Communication Studies’, a Master of Science degree in ‘Media and Communications’ from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a doctorate from the University of Vienna. From 1994 until 1998 he was project assistant at the Department of Communication Studies at the Univ. of Salzburg; 1998 – 2000 research associate at the Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft; from 2002 until 2008 he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Technology Assessment at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Since May 2008 Senior Researcher at the LBI-HTA; since 2012 on-going training courses for psychotherapy (Danube University Krems / ÖAGG, Vienna).
