Background:
Since October 2014 monthly meetings of an multi-professional and interdisciplinary expert working group (FAG) for the further development of the mother-child pass are held in the Ministry of Health and Women (see also www.bmgf.gv.at/muki). Against the backdrop of the appraisal and contextualization of the scientific basis provided by LBI-HTA, the aim of the expert working group is to formulate specific (predominantly screening-) recommendations for a future mother-child-pass programme.
Aim of the project:
The aim of part XI is to summarise all FAG recommendations for pregnancy and to prepare the results for upcoming process steps (steering committee, stakeholder group).
Methods:
grouping of screening recommendations by
- pro-/ contra-screening; no recommendation
- screening point in time
- screening method (e.g.; laborartory, ultrasound,..)
In addition, recommended contents of medical history/ risk factor assessment and of counselling will be presented.
All FAG- protocols and comments will be displayed in the supplement.
Time schedule/ milestones:
from July 2016: grouping of recommendations
January 2017: completion of the report
February 2017: quality control (assessment of comprehensiveness by FAG members)
