The Library of the LBI-HTA considers itself as a specialist library that systematically acquires literature in the various fields of medicine, pharmacology, health economics and puts it at public disposal. The profile is defined by the research fields of the team members. Collected are monographs and journals as well as grey literature and publications of similar institutions from Europe, Canada, New Zealand and the USA.
Moreover the library has made it to its task to make available its own publications via a repository so that interested users have a fast and permanent access to the results of our research activities that is free of charge.
Networking is also on the priorities list of the library. To improve the exchange of information between medical librarians an expert database is maintained.
Opening hours
Basically it is possible to visit the library from Monday to Thursday. Because there are no general opening hours, a notice in advance is necessary.
